The Scholar and Manager
Maureen Crider-Wallace, class of 2003, Management
Maureen Crider-Wallace is a great example of -- and inspiration for -- successful working adult students. Since graduating from Ursuline's UCAP program in 2003, her already-established career in the health care field has soared even higher: "I am proud to be an Alumna of Ursuline College. One month after completing my studies in UCAP, I was promoted from Assistant Director of Rehabilitation to Director. Within a year I accepted the position of Manager of the Home Support Division of Cuyahoga County. The sky is the limit, and Ursuline laid the foundation."
Maureen oversees a staff of 160 in the program areas of Home Skilled Care and Support Services, PASSPORT Provider Services, Ryan White Title I HIV/AIDS Home Support, and the Cuyahoga Options for Elders Program. She was recently recognized by Northern Ohio Live as a "Rainmaker Scholar" in Northeast, Ohio.
As if that isn't enough, Maureen has continued her scholarly quest. She is a December 2004 candidate for Ursuline's Master of Management degree, concentrating in Socially Responsible Leadership, and is choosing an area of interest for her upcoming pursuit of a Ph.D.
